Paul McGrath (Aston Villa)

Paul McGrath (or "God") was born 4 December 1959. Now a retired Irish International footballer with 83 caps.

He was a legendary, hard tackling, defender for Aston Villa in the years of 1989–1996. He spent 323 appearences, absolutely flattening top strikers of the day, despite the terrible condition of his knees.

A favourite of mine as a kid and still a favourite now.
